Semester Midpoint Update

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

Today, I'm sharing an update with y'all. I thought it would be fun to give you some insight as to the classes I'm taking.

Europe in The 20th Century

My history class isn't as bad as I thought. That's between you and me, though. If anyone else asks, I'll deny it. For being a three hour lecture hall, it's not horrible. My teacher is entertaining and he gives us a 10-15 minute break in the middle of the class. A girl can appreciate that.

Honors Engagements of The Common Good

So, I'm actually kicking butt. For real. We played the Manhattan Project Board Game and I won. Multiple times. As a reward, my professor gave me a $15 Starbucks gift card and a Cabrini University travel mug. That's what I'm talking about!

Images of Women: Literature and Media

Fun fact: This is a 300 level course. Say, what? I had no idea what I was getting myself into. But, I'm getting into the swing of things. I like to material we're studying. For our "big assignment" we have to write about women in a specific genre. I'm focusing on how women are perceived in Vogue. Body image. Sex objects. Ahh! It's so interesting!

Spanish Conversation and Composition

I'm in Spanish 203. And, I'm the only freshman. At first, it was definitely a little intimidating. Now, I walk into class like I own the place. (Just kidding!) This class is definitely my hardest class by far. I like to dedicate 15-30 minutes of my day to this class. I study vocabulary, grammar concepts, and do the homework. There's SO much homework!

Honors College Success

This class has been a breeze for me. We talk about time management and study tips. Not bad at all! Every now and then we have a writing assignment, but I like them. They're fun to write.
