Classes I'm Taking This Fall Semester

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

Today's post is a collab post with Katie from Thoughts with Katie. We're going to be sharing the classes we're taking this fall. She'll be a freshman in high school, whereas I'm going to be a freshman in college.

If you've been around since since February, you know that I was accepted into Cabrini University's Honors Program. Therefore, I am taking two mandatory honors classes. I'm also taking four other classes.

When I saw English on my schedule, I squealed. I love English classes. This one requires a lot of heavy reading, but I'm down!

Honors College Success

I have a feeling this class is going to be mostly about how to succeed in college. Hopefully this class will include study techniques and health suggestions.

Honors Engage The Common Good - Reacting To The Past

I've heard a little bit about this class from upperclassman. Apparently, it's supposed to get you out of your shell. (I'm a little nervous, not going to lie.) I think you role-play WWII or something like that.

Europe in the 20th Century

By no means am I a history buff, but I'm looking forward to this class. I've found a bunch of study tips of Pinterest to help me with this class.

Spanish Conversation and Composition 1

First, I'm going to ask y'all to pray for me. I took Spanish 101, 102, 201, and 202. Now, I'm onto taking 203. My parents strongly encouraged me to do so. Having a minor in Spanish will open the door for me in so many ways. Let's give it a whirl!

Introduction to Computers

This class is only 1.5 credits, but I think it will be worth it. I think it's supposed to help me get familiar with my laptop and my school's system.

Overall, I'm looking forward to all of these classes. My schedule isn't jammed pack, but it's also not going to be a piece of cake either. It's perfect. In the middle of the semester, I'll do an update and let y'all know how I like my classes and all of that good stuff.

Question of The Day: What class are you most looking forward to this semester?

  1. I'm with the parents on this one. People love people who have learned or can speak Spanish. Good luck in college!

  3. Your classes seem so interesting! I am a huge history fan, and the 20th century Europe is such an interesting time (you have WWI, WWII, more industries, different cultures, so much more!). As for spanish, it's so good to be able to speak another language. I think I might switch to Italian when I get to college (one more year!), but try to do things that help me remember spanish. I currently take it, and I am absolutely in love with the language. For computer class, it's always good to be able to use/learn more about computers!

I think my most interesting class this semester is Mad Women & Marriages (my first semester english class) and Economics.

    Good luck!!
