What's In My Purse?

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to my blog! This week I'm sharing the ins and outs of my purse. Last week, I decided I wanted to use a bag appropriate for spring. Maybe it would become warmer faster- I don't know.

Wallet

I typically like to carry larger wallets around, simply because they make it easy to be organized. In order to make more room in my purse, I am using a small ID wallet from Vera Bradley. In it includes: money, rewards cards, gift cards, and my privilege card/school ID.

Lip Balm

Because there is no room for a makeup bag, I only bring the essentials. Yes, my Jack Black lip balm is an essential. It keeps my list shiny and soft. (And of course, other lip products dive in every now and then too. Sometimes I have four lip products in my purse. Don't even touch my backpack. There's at least eight in there that I know of.)

Blotting Paper

I have blotting paper in every backpack/purse I own. It's crucial for my oily skin. I typically use it before/after lunch depending on the time.

Feminine Products

No shame. Keeping a pad/tampon in my purse is an essential. I like to keep liners in there for emergencies. You never know!

Bobby Pins/Hairties

They always go missing. I don't know why! I am constantly throwing them in and out of this purse.

iPhone 6

In today's world, how can you leave the house without your cell? I am always on Instagram and Pinterest.

Headphones

A must. There are no ifs and/or buts about it. I personally use the Spotify app. Lately I've been listening to A Rocket to The Moon, Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Mike Posner, The 1975, and Timeflies. And many, many more. I'm a music addict.

Shades

I like to think of myself as a classic girl. I wear the most classic shades of all: Original Wayfarers by Ray-Ban. I am in love with them. (Black shades, black one piece, black flip flops, and red lips. Hello, sunny Cali!)

Keys

For Valentine's Day, my parents bought me a Lilly Pulitzer key chain. It's super duper cute! I'm in love!

Notepad/Pen

I love this notepad- perfect for spring! I only use it when I absolutely need it. I mean, our phones can do anything and everything.

Mints

Sometimes they're a need- especially after a trip to the Olive Garden. I love their garlic bread. Mmm!

Hopefully that wasn't too boring. Was it? Let me know what your purse essentials are. Comment below!

Thanks for reading!

  2. Nice Post! I am such a minimalist when it comes to what I have in my handbag but that's probably because I have no really nice handbag that I love.

    1. Thanks, Ro! As you can see I am the total opposite. I am constantly throwing things in my purse that I "might" need. Thanks for reading & commenting!
