Today, I'm sharing my monthly favorites with y'all. This month, I'm showcasing more fashion favorites as well as music favorites.

Whenever I'm in need of a pair of flip flops, I gravitate towards these. They're so, so comfortable. It's like walking on a yoga mat.

Too Posh To Care Wristlet from Charming Charlie // $17.99

The other day I was at Charming Charlie. I had the opportunity to spin the wheel and I won a 20% off coupon. I decided to go with this wristlet that has a built in charger. Way cool!

Fitbit Charge 2 // $129.95

I purchased my very own Fitbit in the middle of June. I've been using it ever since. I love how it motivates you to get up and moving. I've found this extremely helpful since I have a desk job.

On Netflix: 90210

I've been binge watching 90210 on Netflix like there's no tomorrow. Three words: so much drama. I love it!

Dua Lipa's Self-Titled Album

Dua Lipa's self-titled album is bomb. My personal favorite from the album is Genesis. I also like IDGAF. #GirlPower

Legends by Kelsea Ballerini

We were crazy, tragic and epic, and so amazing. 

Hopeless Fountain Kingdom Album by Halsey

Halsey left an impression on me when I first heard New Americana on the radio. Ever since, I fell in love with her songs. I love how they're brutally honest and explicit. Some of my favorites from this album include: Bad At Love, Strangers, and Eyes Closed.

Heartbreak Album by Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum is pretty hit or miss for me. I really like this album. My personal favorites are: Heartbreak, Army, This City, and Famous.

Dorm Room Wish List

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

Lately, I've been eyeing up Bed Bath & Beyond and Target. Both stores have a wide selection of bedding, room decor, storage, and bath needs for your dorm.

In July and August, I will showcase some of the items I bought/received for my dorm room. But for now, I am simply going to share my wish list:

Decorative Pillows

What girl doesn't have decorative pillows on her dorm room wish list? I actually purchased one decorative pillow for my dorm room. I purchased a navy blue IZOD throw pillow from JC Penny a couple weeks ago. Click HERE to check it out.

Knit Throw Blanket

My sister recently took up crocheting. She is making me a navy blue and white blanket for my room. (BTW, my room theme is gray/navy blue with accents of hot pink.) 

To Go Mug

I personally love this one from Kate Spade, but I have a bunch of other to go mugs that I'll probably be bringing. I love my Mighty Mugs!

Makeup Organizer

I definitely will be bringing some skincare/makeup holy grail items with me to college. Having this will prevent having my mascaras all over the room.

Food Storage

I definitely want to have a storage bin for my food. I'm slightly paranoid about bugs and such in my food... So, having some sort of bin/container will definitely ease my mind.

3 Tier Shelving Unit

As of now, everything in my room has a home. There isn't too much space in a dorm, so I think a shelving unit or some sort will help me stay organized. I definitely want some sort of space dedicated to my blog. Lately, I've been working with a couple of companies and I want to ensure I have space for products in my room. I also need a place to store my planner, notebook, camera, etc.

Comforter

In the picture, I am showcasing a Tommy Hilfiger bedspread. I purchased my comforter from Game's. It is also from Tommy Hilfiger, however I couldn't find it online.

Surge Protector

A few weeks ago, I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond. The sales woman was very clear: get a power strip that has a surge protector. Of course, I added this to my wish list! They are a bit pricier, but they are extremely worth it.

Hooks

Hooks are an essential. I plan on using hooks to hang my towels to dry, as well as a place to store my key chain and/or purse.

Wood Monogram

I've been eyeing up Pinterest for the past couple of months and came across wood monograms. I would love to place a wood monogram over my bed. I think it would look so cute!

Space-Saving Hangers

Your girl has a TON of clothes. I've found these at both Bed, Bath and Beyond and Target. I'm not sure where I'm going to purchase mine yet, but they were both pretty pricey.

Dry Erase Board

Organization is key. A dry erase board will help me stay on top of my blog, extracurricular actives, and my school assignments.

Fabric Garland

Again, I've been eyeing up Pinterest. I'd love to get some navy and hot pink garland to match my other room decor.

Shower Caddy

I'm all about monogrammed goodies. I'm planning on getting a monogrammed shower caddy to hold all of my soaps and skincare items.

Bath Towels

Finding bath towels has been quite the struggle. I've been eyeing these monogrammed towels up from Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Laundry Basket

This is pretty self explanatory. I saw a gray one at Target that I liked a lot. However, I really want to get one that I can bring home with ease. Even though I am living on campus, I still have intentions on coming home quite a bit.

FitBit Charge 2

I've been considering making the purchase of a FitBit for quite some time now. I really like that it not only tracks your steps, but also monitors your sleep and reminds you to workout. I have a huge fear of the freshman fifteen. I know when I get stressed, I easily gravitate towards food. Having a FitBit will help me stay on track of my fitness goals.

Pure Stella Skincare Review

Good morning, everyone!

Welcome back to my blog! This week, I am showcasing another skincare company with y'all: Pure Stella Skincare.

Pure Stella products are not only safe and natural, but also effective. On the About Us page, Stacey, the founder of Pure Stella Skincare, shares with her readers, "Pure Stella products will never contain fillers, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petrochemicals, silicones, preservatives, artificial fragrances and dyes."

I had the opportunity to try out the Coffee Infused Eye Serum and the Vanilla Latte Coffee Scrub.

Coffee Infused Eye Serum // $14

This eye serum helps diminish the appearance of dark circles, while tightening the skin under your eyes.

The coffee infused sweet almond oil contains caffeine, which improves the overall circulation and plumps the skin. This reduces the look of fine lines. Hazelnut, jojoba, and rose hip seed oil, on the other hand, nourishes the delicate fine lines under the eye. Carrot seed, German chamomile, lemon, lavender, and palmarosa essential oils help with overall aging and fine lines.

I like to apply this to my under eye area in the morning and before I go to bed. This product glides on with ease because of the roller ball. The roller ball is my favorite feature of this product. #NoMess

I haven't been getting much sleep these past couple of weeks: finals, graduation, grad parties, blogging, etc. This eye serum makes all the difference in the appearance of my dark, puffy circles.

Vanilla Latte Coffee Scrub // $20

First things first, this sugar scrub smells absolutely incredible. It smells like Starbucks. And I love Starbucks.

The scrub is a blend of locally roasted, ethically sourced coffee with sugar, almond oil, and vanilla extract. The website suggests you can use this scrub from "your head to your toe." I have yet to try it on my face. Personally, I think it would be too harsh for my facial skin. My skin is extremely sensitive.

However, I have used it on my body in the shower. I love using it to exfoliate my legs prior to shaving. Not only does it give me a closer shave, but it lasts much, much longer. I've also used it on my arms and back. I think I've had the most success on my back. During the summer, I tend to breakout quite a bit. This scrub got rid of any dead skin cells as well as any acne causing bacteria.

This scrub tightens, brightens, and calms, while protecting the skin. It's a must have!


Overall, I have had a positive experience with Pure Stella Skincare. The coffee infused eye serum and vanilla latte coffee scrub are both fantastic products. I highly recommend their products.

Skin Prep + Makeup | Graduation 2017

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

This morning, I'm sharing my graduation makeup with y'all. So, I'm definitely kind of upset with the way my graduation turned out. I was supposed to graduate on June 6, 2017. Instead, mother nature decided to rain on our parade, therefore postponing it until June 8, 2017. I was devastated because my godfather flew out from Florida to see me graduate.

Not to mention, I didn't have the time to film this makeup look like I had wanted to. I signed up for Cabrini University's Summer Orientation on June 8, 2017, because I'm going on vacation the other two days they were holding it. Needless to say, it was a jam packed day full of a lot of emotions.

Night Before Skincare Prep

Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Detox Foaming Cleanser Cleanser // $35

I like to start off with fresh skin. I am applying two pumps of the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Detox Foaming Cleanser onto my skin. I absolutely adore the smell of this cleanser. Ever since I started using this cleanser, my skin hasn't been clearer.

The Laughing Tree Organics Walnut and Almond Oil Facial and Body Scrub // $19

I absolutely love exfoliating my skin. This exfoliator is my new go to, as it cleanses and nourishes my skin. However, it doesn't strip my skin of it's natural oils. After using this product for a period of time, I've noted a difference in the radiance of my skin.

Aloe Vera Nose Pore Strips // $1.50

I definitely suffer from blackheads on and around my nose area. First, I applied an extremely hot towel onto my nose. This helped open up my pores. Then, I exfoliated this area with a homemade baking soda paste. After rinsing, I applied this nose pore strip I picked up from Primark.

7th Heaven Peel Off Tea Tree Mask // $1.99

I first tried these masks back in January. Ever since, every time I'm in Walmart or Ulta I pick up a few. Right before my period, I tend to breakout quite a bit. This peel off mask keeps my skin under control. I used this mask to rid hormonal acne from my chin, while purging my pores.

REN Skincare Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream // $45

I really like this moisturizer because is cancels out redness. The day of graduation, I had a bit of acne on my chin and jaw line. Using this moisturizer was a great first step at concealing my blemishes.


Face Makeup

POREfessional Primer from Benefit // $31

This is my favorite primer of all time. It not only minimizes my pores, but ensures my makeup lasts all day. This was important to me since I was on a football field for three hours.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation // $39

I also wore this foundation to prom and other special events. This foundation is incredible. It's medium to full coverage, yet lightweight.

Too Faced Born This Way Concealer // $28

I also love this concealer. I like to use it for the bags under my eyes and any acne I had going on. This was mainly around my chin area.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder // $38

I'm still testing this powder out, but as of now I'm liking it.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Unstoppable // $29

Again, my goal was for my makeup to last-- especially with the heat. This blush lasted all night.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Highlighter in Exposed // $29

Same goes for the highlighter. (Definitely recommend this highlighter if you want to get your glow on.)

Eyebrows

Maybelline Eyestudio Brow Define + Fill Duo // $7.99

This is pretty self-explanatory. I just added a little bit of product to my brows. They're a little sparse in some areas.

Eyes

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eyeshadow Primer // $20

I've been using this eyeshadow quite a bit. It works pretty well for me.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Midnight Cowboy // $19

This is probably my favorite eyeshadow of all time. It's the perfect mix between natural and glam.

Stila Trust In Love Giftable Set // Not Available

Unfortunately, this gift set is no longer available. However, I'm sure you can find similar shades. I went in with different browns to darken up my crease and outer V. I also used a snow white color to highlight my brow bone.

Marc Jacobs Matte Highliner Eye Pencil // $25

I tightlined my upperlash line with this eyeliner. I know it's definitely on the pricier side, but you pay for what you get. This eyeliner glides right on.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara // $22

This mascara was at the top, so I went for it! Pretty easy explanation.

Lips

Laughing Tree Organics Lip Balm // $3

This lip balm contains SPF which I greatly appreciate. I glided this onto my lips to prep my lips lip gloss.

Bare Minerals Moxie Lip Plumping Gloss // $18

I applied the lip gloss only to the center of my lips. This gives the illusion of fuller lips. (I also love these glosses! They're long lasting and not sticky!)

Makeup Setting Spray

Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray // $31

I've probably gone through about six bottles of this product. It's a make it or break it for your makeup. Between the heat and the length of time I was going to be needing to rock my makeup, I gravitated towards this product. It sealed the deal.

I absolutely adore these earrings. I like to pair these earrings with an updo. A low messy bun matches well with these studs.

Silver Flower Dainty Choker Necklace // $18

I never hopped on the choker trend train until now. This necklace is very well made. My favorite part of the necklace is the remaining design after the clasp. There are intricate diamond shaped beads that add a lot to the necklace.

Please note, the finish of plated metals is expected to fade with use and/or over time. This is normal. The owner of the Etsy shop, Karen, recommends avoiding contact with liquids and chemicals. It's best to store your jewelry in an air-tight container away from sunlight. Before storing away, wipe the jewelry down with a dry cloth after usage.

The Senior Year Experience

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

Today, I have a more personal post for y'all: My Senior Year Experience. I've had ups and I've had downs. As cliche as this sounds, those experiences have shaped me into the person I am today. I couldn't be more prepared to head off to college.

Applying To Colleges

Who knew applying to colleges would be so stressful? I applied to Ursinus College, Eastern University, and Cabrini University. (In that order.)

Actually Getting Accepted

Cabrini University was my "back up" school. I had my heart set on going to Ursinus College. After my mom forced me to take a tour of the school, I immediately fell in love. I knew I was going to call this place home.

I went to Cabrini University's Instant Decision Day, where they tell you if you have been accepted or not right on the spot. It was a little nerve racking-- I'm not going to lie. Once the admissions counselor told me I had been accepted, my parents and I celebrated at Olive Garden.

I also got accepted into Ursinus College and Eastern University, however I didn't feel the "spark" I did with Cabrini University.

Harvest Ball 2K16

Harvest Ball is one of my school's biggest dances. Last year, my boyfriend asked me to be his girlfriend. It was kind of a big deal. This year, I had an absolute blast!

Getting Personal With My Readers

My blog means the world to me. I put so much time and effort into this blog. Senior year, I developed a lot of confidence. I decided to share a blog post on my first real relationship with you all. I have my English teacher to thank for editing that piece. Click HERE to read it. (I submitted this piece to Cabrini University, Ursinus College, and a scholarship fund.)

Going To Prom

Prom was fun. I enjoyed dancing the night away with my friends. However, it was an extremely stressful night. Getting ready was insane.

Awards Ceremony

I was invited to the Senior Awards Ceremony at my high school. It was an incredible honor to receive a scholarship through Key Club.

Finding Out Who My Real Friends Are

People throw rocks at things that shine. It's a fact of life and it stinks. However, I am thrilled with the way I'm living my life. I'm going to try my hardest not to care what other people think. I'm getting better at it each and everyday.

Graduating

First of all, huge shoutout to my mom for buying me a Lilly Pulitzer dress to wear. As I'm writing this to y'all, I can't bare the thought of taking it off. I love it so much.

And a second shoutout goes to my family; they've supported me in everything. I can't thank them enough. They've been behind me every step of the way: my blog, extracurricular actives, school, and now college.

Conclusion

Overall, my senior year of high school was definitely memorable. I lost some friends, yet I have gained some friends. I lost some pieces of myself, yet I found some pieces to myself. I lost some insecurity, yet I have gained so much confidence. I learned a lot about myself this year... and it's made me extremely excited to learn more about myself in college.

I couldn't be more thankful for the support of my family, my teachers, and my readers. Thank you.

All About Prom + Vlog

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

On May 19, 2017 I attended my very own senior prom. It was most definitely a night to remember-- and it's all thanks to my mom. She was beyond incredible throughout the entire experience. From buying my dress, to getting my nails done, to getting food for 30+ people, to ensuring we got to pictures on time, to cheering me on at promenade... my mother made it all. I couldn't be more thankful for what she did for me that night and every other day.

With all of that being said, I wanted to show you all my dress, makeup, and nails, along with some other fun pictures the photographer took.

The Dress

I fell in love with my dress instantly. I found it at Macy's early on in the school year. At first, I was extremely embarrassed that I got my prom dress for $20 on the sales rack. Other girls were paying hundreds of dollars for their dress, on top of hair, makeup, and nails. Oh, and transportation! I could never see paying that much for a dress that I am only going to wear once.

My Nails

I went to the same nail salon I always go to because the service is incredible. However, this time the service was not up to par. I was not thrilled with my service. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure (both pink).

My Makeup

Because I've been playing with makeup since the eighth grade and binge watching beauty gurus on YouTube, I thought I would do my own makeup. I purchased some things from Sephora and Ulta a few days before the prom: Peter Thomas Roth cleanser, Laura Mercier powder, Tarte highlighter, a random moisturizer, Benefit's POREfessional primer, and Too Faced's Born This Way foundation and concealer.

I absolutely love the way my makeup turned out.

My Hair

I was planning on doing a sophisticated, pulled back updo, however my hair is way too think to keep anything together. I wound up just straightening my hair and loving it. I'm pretty sure I was the only girl that had her hair like that. However, once we got to the picture taking scene, my hair began to do whatever it wanted.

Pictures

We took pictures at a local park. It has a beautiful lake with a bridge and stone siding. We took several pictures. Amy, if you happen to be reading this, thank you very much. I know it was chaotic and extremely hot. I couldn't be more thrilled with the way the pictures turned out.

Party Bus

Because of the amount of people, we decided to go with a party bus. It was very nice! We played loud music and sang every word of every song.

Prom!

Prom was so much fun! As far as food goes, they had a variety of pastas. They also had a salad bar.

Post Prom

Post Prom was so much fun. They had a bunch of games, including a blow up obstacle course, blow up Twister, and a pop up laser tag tent. My friends and I had a blast. Oh, and they had a ton of food! I'm pretty sure I gained a couple pounds.
